• Responsibilities: Users are responsible for keeping their login information secure. If an account is used fraudulently, it may be suspended or deleted.
• Termination of Accounts: Lowcart reserves the right to terminate or restrict accounts for abuse, inactivity, or any other violations of these terms.
3. Content and Contributions
• Ownership of Contributions: Prices and other user-contributed data are community-collected and can be updated by anyone at any time.
• Removal of Contributions: Users may request the removal of their contributions.
• Accuracy of Content: Lowcart does not guarantee the accuracy of user-contributed data. By registering, users agree to ensure their price updates are accurate and adhere to these terms.
4. Liability and Disclaimer
• Accuracy and Errors: Lowcart is not responsible for incorrect prices, errors, or discrepancies in the system.
• Uptime and Interruptions: While we aim for 100% uptime, Lowcart does not guarantee uninterrupted access. During downtime, an error page with contact information will be displayed.
• Third-Party Content: Lowcart disclaims responsibility for the content of third-party links or external websites featured on the platform.
5. Privacy and Security
By using Lowcart, you agree to our Privacy Policy. The security of your data is important to us, and all transmitted data is encrypted using SSL certificates.
6. Disputes
• Complaint Resolution: Disputes should be submitted via email. If unresolved, a legal team may be appointed to resolve the issue.
• Governing Law: These Terms of Use are governed by South African law.
7. Modifications to the Terms

• Acceptance: Users must agree to updated terms to continue using the platform.
8. Fees and Costs
• For Users: The platform is free for users and will remain so indefinitely.
• For Stores: Stores may be charged fees for advertising or making changes to displayed information in the future.
9. Service Discontinuation
Lowcart retains the right to discontinue the platform or specific features at its sole discretion.
10. Misuse of the Platform
10.1. Lowcart is a community-driven price comparison platform, and users are expected to contribute accurate and honest information.
10.2. Prohibited actions include, but are not limited to:
• Intentionally submitting false or misleading prices to gain more entries, levels, or any other competitive advantage.
• Using automated scripts or bots to update prices.
• Manipulating prices to mislead other users.
10.3. Consequences of Misuse
• If a user is found submitting incorrect prices intentionally, all their competition entries and progress (badges, levels, rewards, etc.) will be reset to zero.
• Further violations may result in temporary or permanent account suspension.
• Lowcart reserves the right to remove fraudulent entries and take appropriate action to maintain the integrity of the platform.
